Creative Arts Therapy is a powerful specialty which provides us to express our subconscious in a safe and easy way. Since the subconscious is a great power that directs our behaviours, depression issues, CAT is very effective and gives great results.
Depression is a natural response to feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. If you're feeling disconnected from others, or lacking confidence in your abilities to accomplish your desires, depression naturally follows. I'll help you identify how you're currently coping and explore new ways of engaging with your emotions. You'll experience a new way of interacting with the world that can help to alleviate negative feelings and amplify the joy you feel in life. I'll work with you to help you develop the confidence to reengage with life and the people you love.
Depression can feel debilitating. You cannot merely "just snap out of it". Depression is also not a sign of weakness. My desire is to help you understand your feelings of sadness, lack of motivation, and other biopsychosocial/emotional/physical issues related to depression.
