Sexual abuse can leave us with several destructive thoughts and feelings about ourselves and/or others. But you do not need to be alone. I will work with you on strategies for coping to ensure the best support for you during these difficult times. I will help support you as we work through the thoughts and feelings you are having to move you forward in your healing process. Focusing on therapeutic relationship and building trust allows me to help support you while using a solution-focused lens.

I use a trauma informed approach to help clients recover from sexual abuse. This is paired with grounding tools and is done at the pace which feels most comfortable for clients.
Sexual assault and abuse can result in severe physical and emotional trauma to you. Sexual abuse includes any type of sexual activity that takes place without consent. Rape, unwanted sexual touching, groping, and forced oral sex are some forms of sexual abuse. Sexual violence and sexual assault are other terms for sexual abuse. You might be feeling overwhelmed or ashamed, and it may be difficult to know where to turn. I have a very strong clinical interest in helping you feel safe within your mind and body in our sessions. I will help you walk towards your story, where you can hold it with confidence and shuck shame and guilt out!
