Are you a person with autism, or are you the caregiver of an autistic individual who could benefit from support? I'd love to connect and find out more about how we can work together.
I define myself as a “neurodiversity affirming therapist” and feel absolutely honoured to work with neurodiverse individuals and couples. This means I understand and work with autism, ADHD and other neurodiverse groups through the lens of neuroscience. Autism is associated with differences in the brain which result in a divergence from neurotypical standards, in terms of how brains filter and make sense of information. I endeavour to help clients shed misplaced humiliation and a sense of failure by becoming conscious of and removing the notion that ‘typical’ traits are superior. It is the neurodiverse individuals in our society that move humanity along.
