What has become clearer to me over the years is that we all have the ability to make changes in our lives - to move us in the direction we wish to go - but sometimes it can be difficult to know or understand the steps we need to take to get there. To create the changes we want to see and experience, we need to commit to doing the work which includes opening ourselves up to the possibility of shifting our mindset, like looking into a kaleidoscope. The first look into a kaleidoscope shows an intricate and layered world of colours and shapes, and with a twist of the mechanism, a brand new picture is created, bringing with it the prospect of new possibilities.

I take a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and feminist approach focused on creating a safe and comfortable environment for all clients. I am passionate about helping people to expand the story they write for themselves. We all carry with us a narrative of who we are and who we can become. Living with anxiety and depression, whether long standing or circumstantial, constrains our narrative: “This is who I am, this is who I will always be.” I see the process of therapy to be about connecting with your thoughts and emotions in a way that gives you control over how you respond to, and engage with, your world.
