Forgiveness of another is a very unique and complex process for everyone. When and how to forgive is so different from situation to situation. I have years of training and experience in working with this issue. I work to help clients address their issues from a variety of different angles and determine the underlying causes behind the problems.
I work closely with my patients to address their ability to forgive others as well as themselves. Shame is one of the number one things that keeps us stuck in our pain and makes it difficult for us to move forward from the past. I focus on treating shame and self criticism using Compassion Focused Therapy, Ego State Therapy, EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
