Autism is very near and dear to my heart. Early in my college career I was involved in an early intervention program for children with autism. Since then I have helped many individuals to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, including children, adolescents and adults.
As an autistic provider, I enjoy working with clients within this community and collaborating with them to find ways to have a more joy-filled and enriching life and increased their sense of wellness. I take a strengths-based, affirming approach with neurodiversity, offering quality care that will see and value client's unique traits, identities, values, and lived experiences.
Are you worried that your child isn't communicating enough and wondering about a diagnosis of Autism? I can help your child to receive the support he/she needs and improve his/her academic and social success.
he first part of a learning assessment is usually an IQ test. The second part is academic testing. This is a thorough assessment of major subjects of study that are foundational for learning. This includes: math, writing, reading, spelling, listening comprehension, and reading comprehension. If a person has a statistically significant difference between their IQ score and their academic ability, we diagnosis a specific learning disability.
