I do not prescribe medication but I do work with individuals with bipolar in coming to terms with the disorder and self-acceptance in integrating it into one's identity without self-stigma or shame. I also work to help the individual learn how to better balance their life, learn about their prodromal symptoms, develop safety plans, address loss issues, address relationship related issues, and learn to be kind to themselves.
It is estimated that 1 in 5 people will experience a mood disorder at some point in their life. You are not alone. I provide a compassionate, non-judgemental space for clients to freely express themselves and to explore their issues openly. Together we can learn how to confront challenges, heal trauma and develop self-compassion to enhance your life and move closer toward your goals.
