Forgiving someone who has hurt us can be challenging sometimes especially when we don’t have adequate tools to first process our pain. One of the ways we will be working together is to explore what forgiveness means to you as the term is unique to each client. Forgiving goes beyond acceptance. In order to help you develop tools for forgiveness I can help you better understand what factors are blocking you from your ability to forgive. Once people process their pain and eventually feel capable of forgiving, they are often able to let go of past hardships, which helps them view their future through a more hopeful and optimistic lens.
