I am a dual province (Ontario & Alberta) registered social worker specializing in mental health. Before entering private practice, I served as the University of Calgary’s Mental Health Consultant where I was the primary on-campus therapeutic support for staff, faculty, and post doctorates. I now work in private practice supporting individuals, couples, families, and groups. I also have specialized training and experience working with first responders and their families in dealing with operational stress injuries. My breadth of experience includes work with patients accessing community public health as well as school aged youth in primary and secondary school divisions.

Dana Dupuis

Registered Social Worker, BA, BSW, MSW, RSW
I have worked in the field of mental health for over 11 years and I have been trained through the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and the Center for Research on Eating Disorders at Oxford. I am a passionate Cognitive Behavioral Therapist always on the hunt for more training! I work with a variety of issues from general life stressors, depression, anxiety to eating disorders and insomnia. I offer structured appointments that are targeted towards your goals, and I see myself as a coach to teach you skills and ways to think to live a more fulfilling life. Those struggling with eating disorders, I provide CBT-T, a ten-session treatment for those who are not underweight. Within this treatment, we work together to challenge your disordered eating thoughts, find food freedom and work with body image. As for insomnia, I offer CBT-I, which is a highly structured program that starts with sleep education and awareness of your sleep patterns. We will work to replace old sleep habits with new ones so you can find a better more restorative sleep. I also offer support for those who are living with someone who is struggling with an eating issue. The goal is to educate those loved ones on the disorder, support their needs and emotions, while empowering them with strategies to help their loved one. Lastly, if you are looking for something experiential, I offer focusing sessions. Have you ever had a nagging feeling in your gut that bothers you that you can’t put words too? Focusing can offer a unique way of tapping into that feeling where something new can emerge.
