I have worked for over 30 years with Children, Adolescents and Families. My graduate eduction focused on a specialization in Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy. Of course this also means that I work with parents in concert with the child or teen, either separately or as a family (dependant on comfort or initial preferences).
I address a range of challenges such as behavioural issues, emotional difficulties, and social struggles. I provide a safe and understanding environment where teens can express themselves, develop healthy coping skills, and build resilience.
Children and youth are a reflection of what is happening within the family system. I work with parents, as well as youth to help them work together as they attempt to navigate the challenging path of growing up.
Tacit works with youth/teens who are 12 years of age and older. We also provides support to parents who have younger children who are struggling with a wide variety of issues.
