Parenting comes with many joys and many sorrows. As you take on the courageous job of slowly letting go of someone you love dearly, I will work with you to gain perspective on your situation, as well as to establish effective strategies in your home.
With expertise in parenting, I offer a supportive and informed approach to help individuals navigate the joys and complexities of raising children. Through evidence-based strategies and personalized guidance, I empower parents to cultivate nurturing relationships, foster positive communication, and develop effective discipline techniques, promoting healthy development and family well-being.
As a mum of five kids, I get it. I get how hard it is to be the parent you hoped to be, when your kids are struggling and the work is piling up and the time is short. Often parenting can bring up struggles from our past, default ways of relating which we don't want our kids to experience. As we face our own pain, we're able to heal both for our own sake and the sake of our kids.
They're worth it, and you're worth it.
I also get how hard it is to prioritise your own healing. That's why sessions are available both in-person (to get away from the stressors at home and work) and online (to access therapy in the small window of time you have available).

Being a parent can be wonderful and also a real struggle. While some children can be parented with a particular parenting style, their sibling may require something completely different. I can help you create a customized parenting system for your household that takes into account the uniqueness of your family's situation.
Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in life. There is no manual for how to raise children/teens and we are bound to make mistakes. However, you can learn skills to help you attune to your child's feelings to help them feel safe. Children/teenagers can often feel confused about their emotions, which can lead to unhealthy thoughts and behaviours. Let us work together through play or expressive arts in understanding your child's/teen's needs for love and security.
