Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Individual, Marriage, and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Self-Esteem is closely connected to our values and behavior. Therapy can help you identify how your daily habits may be breaking down a healthy sense of self and how to replace those habits. Approaches I use to accomplish this work include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
The most rewarding relationship to develop is that with yourself because it affects all areas of life- in a loving environment, we see what gets in the way and (re)discover our inherent worth.
So much of human suffering comes from the absence of self love and the presence of shame. I work with clients to establish self compassion, bringing more wholeness into their lives. Using a combination of body-based and cognitive practices, my approach to self love helps clients live their satisfaction.
