My specialty is Emotionally Focused Therapy for loving couples who are stuck in patterns of miscommunication and struggling with conflict resolution. I am a somatic psychotherapist and approach therapy holistically, focusing on the mind-body-spirit. My background and training is in early childhood development, mindfulness and meditation practices, and somatic psychology. I believe in processing and healing past wounds, while also working with the body and what is coming up in the present moment using body-oriented techniques and mindfulness. I also use ancient yogic practices and approach healing considering your subtle body energy system if you are interested (e.g. chakra health, breathing techniques, movement, etc).
In my practice, I work to support individuals struggling with anxiety, body image, disordered eating, relationships, feeling connected to themselves or others, and those feeling stuck in the same patterns to learn skills and feel secure in their lives. My style is warm, authentic, and collaborative with a bit of humor.

I absolutely love this work! To me, there is nothing more powerful than the growth and healing we bring to our lives. This healing has a positive impact on everyone we come into contact with and quite literally makes the world a better place. So as painful as it may feel, and as challenging, if you are able to meet your shadows and dig up the roots of your problems, you are improving the quality of your life and those around you.
