I can assist clients with addressing anxiety or fear with cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. This type of approach is practical and will assist the client with shifting their thoughts and underlying beliefs, as well as behaviors that may be driving anxiety or fear. This includes the application of various relaxation techniques.
Anxiety is connected to the Unknown and Fear to the known. Anxiety and fear are part of everyday existence but when it overwhelms, techniques are needed for management. Cognitive approaches, visualization and journaling are some techniques in treatment.

Anxiety, panic, and fear - I want to help you challenge those negative thoughts, and recognize how negative thought patterns influence your feelings and behaviors. I utilize different interventions that are tailored to the needs of each individual person and the challenges they face.
I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to confront anxiety head on, and identify the behaviors that directly contribute to the feelings of anxiety.
I help clients understand the root of their anxiety. I help clients find healthy coping tools to manage their anxiety. I help clients overcome anxiety by utilizing therapeutic approaches such as CBT.
Anxiety is very common today, and can have many causes. We’ll identify the roots of your anxiety, review coping skills that work best for you, and use strategies that are easy and effective for anxiety.
