With specialization in trauma recovery, I have experience and training working with survivors of domestic violence. My hope is to create a safe space to process the pain and heal from the wounds of the past, having a healthier relationship with yourself and with others.
There are many people who support the victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse. I am most interested in working with perpetrators. In my office, you'll find a place where you'll be listened to with respect. I've found that most who engage in violence and/or abuse were victims first. Let's collaborate to learn why you treat the ones you love the way you do, and then work out some other ways to create lasting positive relationships.
Our work in Family Law has equipped us with expertise in working with interpersonal violence. We are here to help you manage the significant challenges in a relationship with IPV and assist you on issues of safety and restructuring your boundaries as you move through the process.
In my work with victims of domestic abuse and violence, I focus on increasing self-worth, self-compassion, and self-love. It is by working on these aspects of ourselves that we come to recognize that we deserve more.
What if we could see the broken pieces of ourselves and view them with compassion? What if we saw our scars as marks of courage and resiliency? The journey towards wholeness includes accepting each part of ourselves--the part that is joyful, the part that laughs, the part that hurts, the part that feels empty.
The dynamics of domestic violence are complex. It takes a clinician with a deep understanding of domestic violence and trauma to help clients navigate recovery from this trauma. I have more than 8 years of experiences working with survivors of domestic violence. I incorporate EMDR and Parts Work to help you achieve your therapy goals. I offer a Free 15-minute consultation to see if I am the right fit for you.
