I offer non-demoninational supportive services for those who seek therapy from someone who is open to and utilizes a spiritual/mindfulness approach to recovery.
While psychotherapy often focuses on decreasing psychological symptoms; I am open to working with individuals who also believe that spirituality is an important component to decreasing psychological issues and furthering psychological growth.
Emotional pain is a part of the warning system created to grab our attention and motivate us to come to follow your own spiritual path striving for your truth and comfort. In a sense, the pain is our friend; it first lets us know that something is wrong and then points us in the direction that we need to go order to find freedom.
Spiritual psychology is my specialty. This is not about religion. Spiritual development means many things to people. This is about developing intuition and a deep connection to your own Inner Counselor. Personally, I don't think the challenges of life on earth are solved with the mind. They're solved by reaching inward and developing a heart centered, personal relationship with the divine spark within. We are eternal beings of light having a purposeful, temporary human experience at an important time in our planetary evolution. Many are finding themselves called to explore this important inner territory.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, authentic, compassionate and client-centered. I am committed to providing the highest quality of care. I provide a safe, caring and nonjudgmental environment that centers on client needs. Each therapy session promotes personal growth and success!
Spirituality is the guiding force and respite for many people on life's journey. Having a strong spiritual practice and belief can help you through difficult and discouraging moments. Spiritual practice can be an anchor in stormy times and a powerful connection that creates new perspectives in life
Spirituality is a deeply personal part of our identity that is foundational to our experience of meaning and belonging. My approach to spirituality is to invite you to bring your beliefs and values to therapy without the fear of being judged or shamed. Therapy can be a place for you to explore what healthy spirituality means to you or to further integrate your sense of spirituality into how you aim to live.
