I work with my clients to uncover the core problems causing their anxiety and fears. Anxiety is a natural human process that is hardwired into is. Experiencing anxiety does not mean there is something wrong with you, it means that your body is trying to tell you something. Together, we can work collaboratively to uncover the meaning behind these anxieties and fears.
Don’t listen when worry calls your name. Worry is a habit with a neuro biological underpinning. Learn to have awareness when worry starts [“That’s just my anxious brain firing wrong”]. Use the first sign of worry as a cue to use techniques such as positive self-talk, thought stopping, or deep breathing to manage your anxiety.
“What if..?” It’s like a silent monster that no one else can hear - always questioning but never giving you the answer. It can paralyze or make us want to run and hide. Together, we can learn to quiet the beast, to better understand it and work with our anxieties rather than let them control us.
I have been a psychologist, marriage therapist and coach for many years and truly enjoy helping people find ways to overcome life challenges in their personal life, workplace, and relationships. I see myself as a teacher as well as a therapist.

Is your anxiety or fear getting in your way of living a fulfilling life? I would love to help you. Our mind might keep focusing on what causes us anxiety and fear at times, to the point we feel paralyzed in life. Together, let's find ways to reduce your anxiety or fear to a manageable level—so you can start engaging with others and the world around you more fully, in the present moment.
Are you struggling with persistent worries, fear and self-doubt? Does it feel like you can’t do anything right, and you’ll never have the job, relationship or life that you crave? Perhaps you frequently feel as though you aren’t good enough and you don’t fit in with the successful, vibrant people around you. Or maybe you’re struggling with racing, obsessive thoughts about keeping up at work, maintaining a healthy relationship, raising happy children and meeting all of the other expectations that others have for you. I know how overwhelming anxiety can be. I also know that you need not be alone in your suffering, and you don’t have to be alone on your path to lasting relief. We can walk through this together. With help, there is hope for a more engaged, fulfilled life.
I have experience with working on specific fears/phobias, generalized anxiety, panic, and anxiety that has been somaticized. I know the impact that a racing mind can have on the whole self. I use primarily mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy to help to slow the mind down and create space stillness, acceptance, and self-compassion.
I understand that those struggling with anxiety need a safe, validating, and empathetic therapeutic relationship. This is of utmost importance, and can give you the space you need to explore novel avenues of healing and growth.
