I am a Certified Perinatal Health Professional (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, but I find that most clients find my most useful credential in this area to be my lived experience. As an IVF veteran, survivor of a high-risk pregnancy, and mom who experienced a difficult transition to new parenthood, I understand the ways that these life events can tectonically shift your entire identity. If you are struggling with postpartum depression or anxiety (both of which can begin either during pregnancy or any time during the first year after you give birth), talk therapy can be incredibly effective. For support in these areas, reach out. I look forward to meeting you soon!
We offer clinicians with special training and expertise in Perinatal Psychology. We are passionate about preparing individuals and couples for the often-challenging transition to parenthood. We have clinicians who are trained to promote a healthy carer-and-baby relationship through “Watch, Wait, and Wonder”.
We offer guidance and therapy through pregnancy and postpartum. We help individuals and couples transition into parenthood and treat women with symptoms of postpartum depression.
I am a certified Postpartum Support International provider. I obtained my PMH-C and motherhood is my number one speciality having experienced postpartum depression and anxiety myself and helped countless families to navigate in this area.
I have years of experience after facilitating peripartum and postpartum depression/anxiety groups and working with individuals with postpartum depression or anxiety. Many women experience symptoms before or after the birth of a child. Some women may feel sad, anxious or guilty. Some mother's may have a hard time adjusting after realizing having a child is not what they expected and internal or external pressures may contribute to distress and functional impairments. Therapy can help support a parent during this difficult time.
