It is my firm belief that everyone possesses within them the capacity for profound change and self-discovery. As a hypnotherapist, I am privileged to play a significant role in unlocking this potential and guiding my clients toward a more empowered and fulfilling life.
I am a Washington State Registered Hypnotherapist (#HP60115378), and certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists as a Consulting Hypnotherapist. I am also a member in good standing of this organization, and conform to the high NGH Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
I deeply believe in the transformative power of therapy and that meaningful change is possible at any stage of life. I prioritize honoring the authentic self, even amidst life's inevitable messiness and painful emotions. I’m most inspired by the humans that I work with every day that show tremendous resilience and resourcefulness with life’s challenges.
I work from a non-pathologizing lens and strive to support my clients in exploring what past or current traumatic experiences, including personal/specific, cultural, and systemic, may be currently impacting their self-view and functioning.
I offer a trauma assessment, EMDR treatment, and IFS to support processing past trauma (including chronic and childhood traumas) and grief & loss that may be causing current distress, unhappiness, relationship challenges, negative beliefs about one's self or abilities, and a lack of personal fulfillment.
As a result of years of dedicated practice, I have had the privilege of supporting clients through a diverse range of challenges. This journey has refined my therapeutic approach into a distinct, holistic methodology that integrates the profound insights acquired from extensive study under both the venerable wisdom masters of the East and the renowned healers of the West. This fusion of knowledge and perspectives equips me to provide therapy that is not only deeply insightful but also highly effective, customized to meet the specific needs of each client. My approach is designed to honor the unique journey of every individual, offering a path to healing and growth that is as compassionate as it is empowering. Please feel free to contact me in order to have a free 15 minute introductory phone call.
My commitment to you is simple: to provide empathetic, individualized, evidence-based care that supports your unique journey toward mental health wellness, whether or not you choose to use medications along the way. Let's work together to navigate life's challenges and embrace the path to healing and fulfillment.

Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, LAADC-CA, M-RAS, NCPM, DV VICTIM ADVOCATE
Hello, I'm Shannon.
In addition to being a Mental Health Provider, I am also a Nationally Certified Professional Mediator (NCPM).
Being a Nationally Certified Professional Mediator, has helped me a great deal as a mental health provider.
I am able to break down the layers of a situation or conflict with the goal of a positive outcome for everyone involved.
Four things I want you to know before you begin therapy with me:
1. I want treatment to work just as much as you do......
2. I am not judging you, and need to hear all of your truth(s) in order to best support you. You can't heal what you won't reveal........
3. I will not fight you for your healing....
What that means is: I will not work harder than you do. However, I will be right there beside you as we navigate your Mental Health journey together.....
4. If you don't connect with me, that's okay. Don't be afraid to try someone new, and keep trying until you find the right fit.....
I look forward to working with you!
