As a Veteran having lived and experienced a hyper-masculine identity, I appreciate the level of trust and commitment many undertake to redefine themselves as they embrace emotional healing and coaching. What it means to be a man is currently under the microscope at a societal level. Terms such as 'Toxic Masculinity' are frequently used, but often not adequately understood. Not uncommonly men are feeling marginalised and demonised. I often work with men who want to think about masculinity and what it means to them, and similarly about what it means to be a man more generally.
