In everyday life, we all suffer from anxieties or concerns that may limit our happiness. Therapy involves coming to terms, and understanding reasons you may be unhappy or struggling with things. You deserve to live the life you want, to feel good.
Depression can be something we're familiar with or can take us by surprise due to loss of a job, partner, loved one or animal. Either way it can be debilitating and traumatic as an experience. I offer a safe space to explore how depression has impacted you and then how you can find a way forward.
Helplessness, hopelessness, low energy and no motivation can be ways our nervous system can deal with overwhelm from the past or present. These can be part of a protective, learnt state- wanting to do nothing, to seemingly switch off or go dark. Working with depression in therapy, we don't just talk about what's going but learn how you come 'back to life' at your own pace.
