I help individuals who are struggling with co-dependency issues, such as those who were raised in a relationship with narcissistic parents and/or siblings. This can be challenging and leave them feeling hopeless and lost. I can help them reclaim their autonomy and develop strategies to manage their relationships.
I have a particular interest in supporting people with breaking free from codependent patterns of relating and learning to prioritise their own needs first , working towards understanding the origins of these patterns and coping skills in order to move forward. We may work specifically around the need for implementing boundaries and self care.
I can guide and support individuals dealing with codependency by facilitating creative processes that encourage self-exploration, fostering self-awareness, and empowering them to establish healthy boundaries and cultivate self-care practices.
I find that this painful way of relating occurs frequently in the lives of the clients who come to see me. Through exploring what is often an underlying trauma we can get to the bottom of why we relate in this way, often finding new and more nourishing ways of being in relationship
