Life Coach, RSMT
All the major spiritual traditions as well as scientific studies site forgiveness as a main key to a happy and fulfilling life. Holding onto grudges, anger, guilt, shame, etc towards others but also towards ourselves can be like dragging around a heavy anchor that constantly weighs us down and keeps us from having a more open loving heart and enjoying life. For highly sensitive people, this lack of forgiveness can often have an even more dramatic effect and in some cases can even lead to health issues as well. Together we will work through a process of forgiveness that will bring you much more freedom using a unique multi-modal approach.

Forgiveness is not for the perpetrators of violence or abuse . Forgiveness can help us heal and it is for the victim in every circumstance, so we need to work with this incredibly powerful healing connection to oneself.

Forgiveness has its place. Sometimes it is appropriate; sometimes it is not. In fact I think it is fair to say that forgiveness per se is overrated. Forgiveness is not a statement, but an experience. Sometimes forgiveness is a healing experience for the individual. My counselling would aim to identify whether forgiveness is appropriate in relation to your individual circumstances, and if so to enable you to achieve it as a form of healing; and if not, to help you find another path to fulfillment.
