Counsellor/Therapist, Accredited, MA in Counselling & Psychotherapy, MBACP Reg
I offer compassionate guidance and one-to-one support to individuals navigating the complexities of separation and divorce. With a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological toll that divorce can take, I provide a safe and empathetic space for clients to process their feelings of grief, loss, and uncertainty. Drawing upon years of experience and specialized training, I empower individuals to heal from the pain of divorce, rebuild their lives, and embrace new beginnings with strength and resilience.
Divorce is a life-changing decision. It changes everything, but at the same time, it helps to start a new chapter in your life. In the session, we will go through five stages of acceptance of divorce: denying, anger, burgeoning, depression and acceptance.
Divorce or separation can have a far reaching impact on your self-esteem, sense of identity and life experience, not to mention the impact on the wider family and friends. Our dream of a life lived out with our partner has ended, so there loss, disappointment, anger and fear. We often need time to adjust and work out who we are as individuals, whilst allowing time to grieve, vent and move forward. I've worked with many parents and people after divorce and separation to help them unpick what happened, which helps the transition into a new phase of life.
Are you going through a relationship break up or dealing with the aftermath? Do you need to find a way forwards so you are able to find a degree of acceptance and the confidence to start at new life. BWRT, NLP and Hypnosis can give you your life back.
Experiencing loss is the price of consciousness. But divorce is often more complex that grief alone because sometimes it can become a battle for resources and children and then anger and hatred can mingle with love to give a heady brew. Therapy can help you understand, plan and move on with your life. I would like to meet with you to see what can be done to help you. This will enable us to get to know each other and see if we can work together. It’s important for you to work with someone you trust and feel safe with.
