My goal in therapy is to provide the support and compassionate challenge my clients need to face difficult episodes in their lives. I believe that most people benefit from the experience of having a caring, supportive listener to help them navigate challenging issues and painful transitions.
I appreciate that you are seeking support for yourself or a loved one. As part of this process, important decisions are probably being made by you or on your behalf. I offer psychological and neuropsychological assessments to ensure that these decisions are informed and based on your (or your child’s) unique strengths and needs. I also provide individual therapy to adults struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship issues.
Just being a human is challenging. A therapeutic relationship is one that creates a safe space to reflect on who you are and what you experience, learn to relate to those experiences differently, and empowers you to make choices about how you want to be. My work is to support you, build awareness and understanding, and ultimately to help guide you towards living a full, vital, and connected life - as you define it.
As a licensed clinical health psychologist, I am passionate about working with clients with either acute or chronic health problems to improve their overall quality of life. I use effective and evidence-based strategies to help you manage your mood, anxiety, and stress; cope with symptoms such as poor sleep, pain, and fatigue; and increase vitality and meaning in your life.
