We'd dig into any emotional stuff or past traumas connected to the split, and figure out ways to deal with the sadness, loss, and uncertainty. Plus, we'd work on skills to handle co-parenting, deal with arguments, and start over after the divorce. The goal of therapy would be to help them heal from the hurt of the breakup, feel better about themselves, and get back on track in a positive way.
