I enjoy helping people with anxiety and fear. I do a thorough assessment and developmental history to be able to understand the origins of the anxiety/ fears, to help us understand how they arise, their triggers, and how we can work together to reduce their intensity and build a sense of peace and happiness.

Anxiety and fears can come from different things like past experiences, stress, or big changes in life. I'd help someone with anxiety by figuring out what's causing their fears. Then, I'd use techniques from therapies like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness to help them deal with their anxiety and learn ways to cope. I might also use methods like Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help them face their fears and live a better life. In couples therapy, I'd use approaches like the Gottman method and Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy to deal with any relationship issues that might be making their anxiety worse.
