I specialize in helping clients learn how maladaptive thinking patterns, emotion dysregulation, and behavioral responses negatively impact stress and anxiety. With a little mindful awareness stress can be greatly reduced.
Stress impacts all of us. I take a strengths based approach to understand how stress impacts an individual and to help my clients differentiate between productive and unproductive stress. I also work with clients on managing stress in order to feel as if they are able to fully function in all areas of their life.
Identifying areas of stress and finding solutions that are helpful. Changing negative thought patterns that develop because of stress and finding new ways of thinking about events that cause stress.
When clients come to me, they are experts on their problems. My job is to help them identify and work toward the solutions. My clients become experts on what they can do to enjoy life more. I feel privileged to be part of a process that empowers people to transform their lives for the better.
