Usually, when people become depressed, they isolate themselves from important relationships with others. I work empathically and non-judgmentally with my clients to help them see ways they may be isolating themselves and keeping themselves from getting comfort from others that would help their depression.

It is not difficult in today's world to feel a sense of isolation - either because you live on your own, or because it can be a challenge to really connect with others around you. We will examine and work to overcome what may drive your social isolation, whether that is not finding a place to fit in, lacking ways to connect with like-minded others, or other physical or mental health barriers to being connected.
