I specialize in treating trauma and PTSD. In addition to using psychoanalytical and other traditional techniques, I use holistic techniques, such as, EMDR and energy therapies that can help you heal much faster. You can reduce those nightmares and flashbacks and fear in the present because of what has happened in the past. I can help you learn to trust again with healing therapy.
Life Coach, Trauma-informed; PCC (Professional Certified Coach); Mindful Self-Compassion trainer
I am a student of Somatic Experiencing (SE), a powerful approach to healing trauma. Trauma is almost always present in neurodivergent individuals, and SE is a powerful modality for easing one's tendency to fall outside their window of tolerance.
"Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom." We can't change what happened to us, but we can change how we respond to trauma. I am a trauma-informed therapist who specialized in treating people with trauma history. I was trained in strengths-based trauma recovery and somatic experiencing to help clients release their traumatic responses, regulate their physical responses, and connect their body and mind.

Trauma and PTS (I don't like the "D" for "disorder") work can be difficult. We will work through and resolve the memory of the original incident or incidents, in gentle ways that do not require direct, painful re-experiencing. We will work mostly on the unconscious level to resolve the emotions involved, and the associated shame, guilt, regret, and grief.
This work can take longer than the 3-4 sessions that resolve most other types of issues.
I have experience as a clinical social worker in schools, prisons, foster care systems, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient mental health, I have supported people of wide backgrounds, trauma, and ages.
In my therapeutic practice, addressing trauma and PTSD is a journey grounded in trust, compassion, and resilience. Utilizing trauma-informed modalities, I guide individuals in safely revisiting and processing their traumatic experiences. Together, we navigate the healing journey, fostering a sense of empowerment and helping clients rewrite their narratives, ultimately reclaiming control over their lives beyond the shadows of trauma.
