Self-esteem comes from being resilient from being in environments that support who we are as 95% of how we think-feel-act comes from the environment we grew up in (home-school-society). Self-esteem, knowing/liking who we are, & resiliency can grow when doing neurofeedback, hypnosis and counselling.
Self-Esteem will be explored through a Narrative and CBT approach. The therapy session will explore your narrative in relation to self-esteem. This will be done through a discussion about your beliefs, behaviour and thoughts about yourself.
Our sense of self can be impacted by our experiences, both past and present. In working to build our sense of self-esteem, it is important we connect to our values and strengths and build positive self talk. In order to support my clients in connecting to their own sense of self and building their self-esteem and trust in self, I utilize an integrative approach, designed to best support you, your experiences, and your worldview.
Using a variety of modalities, work with the client to understand the barriers between themselves and their best selves. Offer strategies, tools and space to learn how to reconnect with ones' personal sense of worth.
