Social anxiety is very common and can greatly be helped by re-setting the central nervous system and brain, as well as reframing any negative beliefs and fears that are in the unconscious mind. This can be accomplished through neurofeedback, hypnosis along with learning effective sills and tools.
A CBT and Narrative approach will be used to explore social anxiety. A narrative approach will be used to externalize social anxiety and understand the impact it is having on your life. A CBT approach will be used by focusing on the thoughts, behaviours, and your reaction to the situations to help lessen the anxious and fearful thoughts.
A person with social anxiety disorder feels symptoms of anxiety or fear in situations where they may be scrutinized, evaluated, or judged by others, such as speaking in public, meeting new people, dating, being on a job interview, answering a question in class, or having to talk to a cashier.
As of July 2019, I have also received training to offer Anxiety Coaching. This a specified set of sessions to help you to take back your life from Anxiety. Trained by Karen Day in Breaking the Worry Trance, this is an intensive deep-dive into anxiety. It is particularly useful for OCD, Social Anxiety and GAD.
