Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, LCADC, MAPC
I have a MA in pastoral counseling from Liberty University. Being a Christian in these modern times demonstrates the importance of having a biblically informed worldview to address the life changes that people of faith face. I believe the bible is the word of God and is powerful in helping one overcome different issues. I also incorporate a holistic approach to touch on other key issues of the person.
As a Christian Counselor, I am able to identify with your values and provide solid Biblical tools to use in your life and in your relationships. I provide guidance and answers that are consistent with your faith.
At SCW, we believe that faith and religion can play an important role with some clients. For those, we offer a Christian perspective and reflection during our sessions.
Being a Christian psychologist myself, this is an area of support that can harmoniously intertwine both faith and mental health. The integration of faith alongside fallabilities and areas one wants to work on can vary greatly. We would work together to determine how this looks.
I can support you with Christian counseling. During our collaborative experience together, I will provide an empathic and caring space to help you move through your struggles, so you can live your best life. Together we will find ways towards a path of feeling better, leaning new coping skills to reconnect with your internal self.
