Depression is a common struggle among children, adolescents and adults. At CSP we believe that one condition, such as depression, will never look the exact same on two or more people. Therefore, we don't treat it the same. We take an integrative and personalized approach for every patient to ensure that the treatment they receive will work best for them. Treating depression includes understanding what the depressive symptoms are, where they come from, how to notice triggers, how to manage symptoms, and how to overcome mood shifts, through both cognitive and behavioral strategies. In addition, a psychodynamic approach is often used to explore the origin of the depression and process / heal from the underlying cause(s).
