I offer online therapy to increase access to people who have trouble getting to an in person therapist or simply prefer online therapy. My psychotherapy approach is tailored to your needs and what works best for you. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and I have worked with refugees, neurodivergent people, poly people, gay/lesbian/bi people, trans people, and intersex people with a variety of mental health concerns. Helping people overcome trauma is something I'm especially passionate about. I am also able to provide ADOS-2 autism assessments for adults and older teens.
"Often enough, we do not know our own mind. In the process of dialogue with another person, we are able to clarify what we think and feel"
(Fonagy, 2006).
The focus of my practice is to facilitate the client's self-concept and self-esteem. Issues include anger management; addictions; depression; sexual assault/domestic violence; PTSD; career counseling; and multicultural and diverse populations, among others.
I am an optimistic and accepting therapist, enthusiastic about working with clients in collaborative ways, seeking to uncover and understand, and finding new ways of changing your life and living with fullfilling and rewarding relationships, families and friends.
