Happy Apple - Center for Anxiety, Depression, & Couples
Counselor/Therapist, LMFT, LCSW, PhD, LMHC
In couple and relationship therapy, therapists help participants replace unwanted interactional patterns with healthy ones, bolster trust and connection, and heal relational wounds. Relationship counseling might involve couples, friends, siblings, teammates, or work colleagues, among others. The interpersonal skills acquired in therapy facilitate the following, both personally and professionally: Assertiveness, more meaningful connections, influence, leadership, intimacy, and conflict resolution. We take scientifically supported approaches to our couples work, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method.

Together, I will help you unlock new ways of relating and increased emotional safety. I have a special interest in working with polycules or those practicing ENM.

New York Pathways
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, LMSW, CSAT
New York Pathways guides couples in a process called relationship restoration. Couples arriving to New York Pathways have often lost trust and the ability to effectively communicate. Utilizing a conjoint therapy process, each partner is assigned a therapist to work with on their own individual treatment plan. Partners are also given a combined treatment plan geared towards restoring hope, trust, and intimacy in the relationship.
The relationship restoration process typically takes 6 months to a year. The couples will work together to understand the impact of sexual addiction and compulsive sexual behavior and establish clear boundaries for the future. The process will lead up to developing accountability and emotional restitution.
