Every act of embracing something new involves the letting go of something old. Loss denied and grief disallowed are the roadblocks against vitaity. Safety and trust are the foundations that allow the acceptance of loss and the experience of grief and protect against the horrible distortions that can result from defense against the completion of experience.
I am trained in Advanced Grief Counseling and Therapy. Grief and Loss are ongoing processes that are unique to each individual. It is often the case that others start to "rush" the process at a certain time with unhelpful statements like, "It's time to get over it."

I also have personal experience with pregnancy loss and have helped an extensive amount of individuals and couples with this horrific pain, in addition to the pain of infertility.
