You may also be trying to make up for binges my throwing up, using laxatives or diuretics, and/or exercising. You may be hiding that you’re struggling from the people in your life because you’re afraid of being judged. You have achieved success in other areas of your life when you applied yourself but in spite of your best efforts you just can’t seem to “willpower” your way out of binge eating.
