Grief can be a part of transitioning though any number of life changes or events whether it be the loss of a loved one or an experienced milestone. We never "get over" the loss of a loved one, but you can learn to live with this loss alongside life's joys as the experience it woven into the fabric of your life. My years of experience supporting families and children with acute and or chronic illness in an inpatient pediatric hospital setting has greatly informed my approach to grief work and supporting families through the unimaginable.
