I've been trained in a number of modalities to treat trauma and PTSD. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I offer a safe and supportive space for individuals to process their trauma, reduce symptoms of PTSD, and rebuild their lives. Using evidence-based treatments and a trauma-informed approach, we'll work together to address the emotional and psychological impact of your experiences and develop personalized strategies for healing and growth.
For those individuals whose trauma histories negatively shift quality of life, I help them gain skills for self-regulation, distress tolerance, and problem solving to help them make more impact in multiple areas of life.
Many of our therapists specialize in trauma and PTSD. Dr. Sanness specializes in PTSD, Dissociation, Complex Trauma, and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings to help clients with these difficulties. Dr. Nelson has training in Prolonged Exposure therapy which can be very helpful to individuals with PTSD.
