Having worked as a Registered Social Worker for over 12 years, I have established an approach to working with clients that leaves them feeling heard and supported. Together we create a space where you can safely and effectively work towards your wellness goals and make positive changes in your life. This may involve talking things through, processing and making sense of difficult experiences, addressing unhelpful thought or behaviour patterns, or establishing more effective coping mechanisms. Every client's journey is unique. My role is to support you in this process by being a neutral, non-judgemental resource.
Please feel free to explore my website for more information or to book a free 20 minute consultation.
I would love to hear from you!

Loss and grief can feel like the most overwhelming and all encompassing tide, washing over every part of your life and leaving you feeling adrift. If you are grieving, please know that your pain is real and your feelings are valid. Grief is a natural response to loss, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it. Allow yourself the space and time to mourn, and remember that it’s okay to seek support. Friends, family, support groups, and counselors can offer comfort and understanding during this difficult time. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting; it means finding a way to carry the memory of your loved one forward while gradually rediscovering moments of peace and joy. You are not alone in your sorrow, and it’s okay to ask for help. Your journey through grief is unique, and it’s important to be gentle with yourself as you navigate this path.
Loss/grief is a natural response to any kind of disconnection, whether it's from a significant person, a life event, or an experience. I'll be there for you every step of the way, guiding you through the process and helping you grow stronger.
Grief can have many impacts on our lives and relationships. I believe it is essential to take the time to honour the relationship that has been lost and understand how the world around us, our culture, beliefs and family systems can influence the experience and expression of grief.
My approach is grounded in authenticity, trust, and often humour. I believe you have the wisdom to navigate life’s challenges and I strive to help empower you to facilitate change in therapy. Therapy provides a safe space to explore your grief. I work with individuals, couples, children and families offering a free consultation to ensure we are a good fit. I carry a systemic lens, exploring the way culture, community and family shape our experiences and aspirations. I am committed to strength-based and anti-oppressive practice in my work. I recognize the importance and responsibility I have as a therapist, to address the systemic inequalities impacting clients in their lives.
