I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and of all ages and feel privileged to witness the incredible determination and resiliency of the human spirit.
Registered Psychotherapist, Joshua Ribalkin, MA, MA, RP
I have a background in spiritual care and psychotherapy and am very interested and comfortable with exploring spirituality with clients who are open to and interested in this. I understand the benefits spirituality can have in psychotherapy and am happy to help individuals to connect with their own inner spiritual resources as well exploring possible new areas of interest.
Rahwa Gebredingle, Benjamin Rubinoff, Terri Roberton, and Barbara Brown come with specialized training in spirituality, and all our therapists can meet you in your reflections on faith or spirituality. Contact our Intake Worker to help determine who will be the best fit for you.
A good therapist will never push their beliefs onto their client. Instead, the goal is to create a space that is open and safe so that you can challenge your own beliefs and see what no longer serves you and what does serve you.
As a former ordained minister who was also certified in pastoral care, and held the position of a Multifaith Chaplain for 12 years, I bring a broad understanding of principals of faith that guide and ground people to a place of wholeness. That said, spirituality is not religion.
