"Beauty is not a single image, but the active embodiment and celebration of the Self!" Body Image is how we see ourselves and relate to our appearances. The techniques I offer will help you to develop Self-Love, Self-Worth, Self-Care, and uncover your inner and outer strength to identify with your beautiful and unique body image. We explore ways to turn your insecurities and perception into feelings of appreciation, celebration, acceptance, and knowing, 'You are beautiful and enough'.
It's common to struggle with how we see ourselves and our bodies, which can significantly affect our self-esteem, mood, and overall well-being. Together, we will work to understand the origins of your body image concerns, challenge negative thoughts and perceptions, and build a healthier, more positive relationship with your body. This process is about embracing self-acceptance from a realistic, accessible lens, and fostering a sense of confidence in who you are, both inside and out.

We are bombarded daily with ideals and opinions about ideal body shapes. We need to uncover an acceptance of who we are as we are. I work with clients to develop a healthier mindset and self-image.
We all want to look good, in one way or another. But when we become very concerned with our appearance or bothered by a physical defect it can take up so much time and energy out of our life, it just gets too much to handle!
I provide a welcoming and safe environment where we can work together to identify, understand and improve your body image.

I have never met anyone who did not like something about themselves. In today's world we are all victims of what we see and what is fed to us in the media. I will teach you to accept yourself and strive for excellence and not perfection.
I have specialised in body positivity and have worked to address how bodily concerns and eating distress can impede or take over everyday life, and affect one's relationship with themselves and others.
Therapy is often an effective way to address body image concerns. In therapy, a person may explore all the factors that have contributed to a current mode of relating to self. We can work together to develop awareness of how much of our self-perception can come from negative comments by others as well as explore the impacts of societal and systemic expectations and pressures. I would like to help you identify the roots of low self-esteem and begin a healing process that focuses on building greater self-compassion and self-acceptance.
I believe the path to healing body image issues involves understanding the root of how our current relationship with our bodies developed, as well as setting a new foundation based in a new narrative about our bodies that is firmly planted in acceptance and values-based self-knowledge, self-care, enhanced self-esteem, and loving kindness.
