Having worked as a Registered Social Worker for over 12 years, I have established an approach to working with clients that leaves them feeling heard and supported. Together we create a space where you can safely and effectively work towards your wellness goals and make positive changes in your life. This may involve talking things through, processing and making sense of difficult experiences, addressing unhelpful thought or behaviour patterns, or establishing more effective coping mechanisms. Every client's journey is unique. My role is to support you in this process by being a neutral, non-judgemental resource.
Having worked in multiple hospital settings with patients struggling with chronic medical conditions, I am equipped to support you through the many ways chronic illness impacts you and your life as a whole. Together we can build coping strategies, process the impact your health condition has on your life, your relationships and your stress levels and find ways to improve your overall mood and wellness as you work towards making the most of your situation.
