Fundamental to therapy is helping people to feel better about themselves. In working with clients who have traumatic experiences from the past, much of the work is focused on the person's relationship with themselves. This is critical to good therapy, in order to help people be able to move forward in many areas of their lives.
We all have a struggle in life, but how we view ourselves can have a pervasive impact on our lives. We will help you break unhealthy patterns regarding your view of self, and help build a healthy view of self.

The way we feel about ourselves is the foundation to any achievement in life, whether personal or professional. The way we treat ourselves will set the tone for every relationship we have. This is why cultivating a strong self-esteem is crucial to fulfilling your life goals, and to living a happier life. I guide my clients to address the roots of their lack of self-love and feeling of worthlessness in a safe and compassionate space. Using practical tools, I help people become more accepting and loving of themselves, while challenging the negative core beliefs they have been living with for years. You, as much as anyone else in the world, deserve your love and compassion. I'm here to help you find it.
Strategies are offered to help you direct your focus, concentrate your power, and hold a commitment to succeed by shining the spotlight on how mindset and habits influence productivity and performance in sports, art, education, and business.
Our therapists work with individuals experiencing anxiety (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic, health anxiety), depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress, procrastination and motivation difficulties, grief and loss, and challenges encountered during major life transitions.

Self-esteem is all about how we value and perceive ourselves. Connected to that are the standards and expectations we set for ourselves and others. At its core, self-esteem is based on the opinions, beliefs and narrative our minds hold about ourselves, which can feel difficult to change. How we define and measure our self-esteem can deeply affect whether we value ourselves, respect ourselves or even like ourselves. Therapy focused on self-esteem work challenges us to cultivate a deeply personal and meaningful definition of self-esteem, one that is holistic in nature. Once we have done that, we can then set up weekly experiences that ask us to live through that definition.
How we think and feel about ourselves can influence all aspects of our lives, including our work and relationships. When we sit with feelings of shame and name our internal criticisms, we can finally move towards more healthy, loving and compassion views of our ourselves. I hope to help you better understand where your self esteem issues stem from and build unconditional acceptance for all the parts of you.
Low self esteem can affect the way an individual views themselves in the context of their relationships, the world around them and their confidence in themselves. This may lead to avoidant behaviours, negative thoughts and self talk and low confidence to try new things. Therapeutic interventions can help identify and positively change core beliefs and increase confidence.
