Registered Psychotherapist, HBEd, MA (Hons.), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
They say our greatest weakness lies in giving up! We have all been there. I decided that if life was going to be difficult, I would become its greatest “warrior” and teach others to do the same. Too often we use our armour to hide our inner selves, rather than see it as our strength which only comes from taking a risk, facing our fears, taking a step forward, and learning that every battle is won with wisdom. I am here to empower you to take that chance on yourself — your mind is a powerful force, but you are its master.
Through various forms of therapy, one can explore different perspectives, coping skills, and motivators to establish better relationships; self-esteem and self-direction; deal with complicated family or couple dynamics; face a significant crisis or transition; manage substance use or addiction; and collaboratively make cognitive and behavioral changes to better emotional, mental, and even physical health!
We all face challenges in life with its ups and downs. Sometimes they leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and depressed. It can be hard to ask for help during these times. If you’re reading this , you are looking for someone to help you. Finding the right therapist is important. Look for someone who understands what you are going through. If any of this resonates with you, I will be honoured to meet you. I offer free consults so that you can sit down with me and get to know me a little before deciding if we are a good fit.
Registered Social Worker, MA, RSW & Psychotherapist
If you feel called to engage in a deeply expansive, experiential process steeped in a compassionate and heart-centered approach to healing and wellness and to learn how to let go of the illusion of control through holding on to the story about the your issue or illness, to let go of your attachment to the story, to let go of using it as an excuse to avoid growing, I am honoured to serve you and assist you to facilitate your own healing. I am an experienced therapist with over 20 years experience in mental health assessment, therapy and wellness coaching.
I am trauma and attachment therapist working with clients who have experienced childhood-developmental trauma, relational trauma, intimate partner abuse, bullying, or PTSD. Clients that arrive with multiple presentations or have experience traumatic events tend to struggle with on-going states of anxiety and depression, relationship issues, become labelled as bipolar and experience borderline personality disorder. My purpose is to help clients to connect with their bodies, mind and brain to achieve better understanding of them-selves and build clarity, self-regulation and resilience.
Our team is passionate about being potentially your therapist, especially with consideration of being open with our clients with a safe and trusting environment. Feel free to ask questions and share your concerns. Kindred Hope Wellness believes strongly in trust, compassion and openness with each others as it is built both ways.

Asking for help is a sign of strength. If you are looking for help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, BPD, PTSD or have been a victim of narcissistic abuse, it takes courage to ask for help. Admitting you can’t do everything alone is the first step toward achieving wellness in a fast-paced, demanding world. Therapy can enable you to delve deeper through inner child work and reparenting yourself to heal your trauma wounds and move forward. Asking for help and obtaining a fresh perspective of your past is the first and most profound step toward developing the mental muscle needed to attain emotional and mental strength.
As an experienced psychotherapist, I aim to help you navigate your emotions and move toward a healthy and fulfilling life. I specialize in working with women's issues and use modalities like Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Practices, ACT, and Solution-Focused therapy.
I believe in forming an authentic therapeutic relationship with respect to the client’s cultural background. One can face difficult emotions with a suitable therapeutic approach that tailors individual emotional needs. Therapy is a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can unpack their deepest feelings, learn to process emotions, and gain clarity.
Life's challenges can be difficult to navigate at times. You might be struggling with grief, trauma, life transitions, burnout, stress, or depression and anxiety. These difficulties often bring unresolved past issues to the surface, making everything feel even more overwhelming. Finding your balance and sense of self can seem exhausting and hopeless. Together, we can work to process your emotions and experiences, develop effective coping strategies, meaningfully integrate your experiences into your life, and ultimately rebuild a sense of hope and resilience for your future. I am excited to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and positive change.
