We will process the loss that you experienced whether it is complicated or not. We will explore the relation that you have with the person while giving you the space to grieve without feeling judged.
I specialize in working with adults and teens (16+) in recovery from mental health conditions and life stressors. Some of these include anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use disorders, eating disorders, loss, grief, life transitions, women's and LGBTQIA+ health issues and trauma.
Many of us have not fully grieved events and people from our past, especially men. I have had people who have been numb most of their lives sob heavily after Hypnotherapy, Heart Centered Breathwork, and emotional release work. Many times there is anger underneath that prevents sadness and the grieving process as anger comes before sadness in grief. Clients describe a huge weight being lifted off their shoulders when they are able to let out the anger and fully grieve afterwards.
I am a clinical psychologist who is compassionate and dynamic with over 17 years in practice. I integrate philosophies from the medical, psychological and self-help communities in order to treat the whole person. Also, I am a positive person who focuses on my clients strengths to help them heal.
