Chronic pain or living with a terminal illness can cause significant disruption to the quality of a person's life. I have extensive experience working with clients who have chronic pain conditions such as reflex neurovascular dystrophy, systemic lupus erythematosus, Osteoarthritis, among many others. I have also worked with individuals who are undergoing cancer treatments and individuals who have autoimmune diseases such as EOE.
We work with several clients who cope with chronic pain and disability. Nicole Osborne also specializes in working with individuals with terminal illness and their families.
I have a background in supporting children and adolescents experiencing chronic pain. I worked for a year at the Children's Hospital pain clinic supporting patients with a variety of chronic pain concerns utilizing ACT, CBT, and neurofeedback approaches.
With a PhD in Health Psychology and almost 20 years of practice in the field, I have clinically-proven skills to help manage many physical issues such as chronic pain, migraines, tension headaches, dysautonomia, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), sport injury and recovery, and other chronic illnesses. It is important to address both the mental and physical aspects of these issues, as both impact one another greatly.
