My approach to therapy is person-centred and collaborative, integrating different techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment therapy. What has become clearer to me over the years is that we all have the ability to make changes in our lives - to move us in the direction we wish to go - but sometimes it can be difficult to know or understand the steps we need to take to get there. To create the changes we want to see and experience, we need to commit to doing the work which includes opening ourselves up to the possibility of shifting our mindset, like looking into a kaleidoscope. The first look into a kaleidoscope shows an intricate and layered world of colours and shapes, and with a twist of the mechanism, a brand new picture is created, bringing with it the prospect of new possibilities.
