I am so glad to be welcoming more and more men into my practice. Finally, men are seeking more support and understanding that professional counseling can be a formative space to tackle the pressures and ever changing environment you are experiencing. From depression, low esteem, workplace and relationship stress, therapy can be a place where you can unpack and care for feelings that may have been pushed down for far too long.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MSW,RSW, Psychotherapist
Having worked with men over the past few years I know that there are specific issues that impact men differently. I aim to provide a non judgemental approach to support men.
Working with men from a non shaming and supportive approach has been very rewarding for me and has resulted in many of the male clients I work with having an increased sense of self acceptance and understanding. Men have lots of work to do in today's society to ensure the future is one where love and acceptance are nurtured. Getting support from a male therapist who is doing his own work around masculinity can be helpful.
